What did you book readers think of Angels & Demons(movie)?

Around late 2006, I was hearing buzz of this book that had been a best seller, about to be a film. So I go to Wal Mart and purchase a paper back copy of The Da Vinci Code. I read it and fell in love with it. I seen the movie, I was fairly disappointed but I had to be realistic, if they packed every detail of information into the movie, it would last forever. So after doing research I found that he had written 3 other books. One day I was traveling through a flea market and came to a stand that sold the books and I found all of them for a dollar a piece but I never got around to reading. Then this year as I was hearing more and more about Angels & Demons I began reading(also ordered the hardbacks of all his books). I felt Angels & Demons was a better, more interesting book. But I didn't stop there, I read Deception Point right after, and now I am in the process of reading Digital Fortress. Anyways, I just got the chance to see the movie for Angels & Demons and I have to say that this is the most disappointment I have had in a very very long time. They completely changed most of the book, leaving out key characters, changing key scenes. It was nothing like I had pictured. The anti-matter scene was supposed to be confidential between Kohler, Langdon, Vittoria, and no one else yet Kohler was completely missing from the movie(that I am aware because I found it rushed at points I didn't quite comprehend it). The plane that flies at incredible speeds was never explained. The guy who was in charge of counting votes never explained to the camerlengo that the Pope was his father. Langdon didn't go up in the helicopter and have to miraculously escape death. The hin was completely different and never took Vittoria hostage. A lot of you will probably not get this statement but I grew up with this and this is the only example of how disappointing I can think it to be. I put this movie in the category with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. I grew up with TMNT and loved the first 2 movies and was so excited and when I got to the cinema it was like the biggest WTF moment I can recall, that is, until I seen this movie. So anyone else got any opinions on it?

What could my dream mean...?

I know I ask this question before but please take the time to read it. You wont regret it I promise. I dreamt that me and an old best friend of mine were hanging out. I dont remember much but one thing I do remember is that my best friend grabbed my hand really tight and it felt so real. It felt like she was scared and thats why she grabbed my hand so tight. I never had a dream like this before and now im worried. I really miss her and love her. She had moved away and I lost contact with her. She was going through some major family problems and she didnt have a good childhood either. I tried searching for her on facebook and people search but I found nothing. if you're interested in it i think it would go pretty well but be warned science courses can be demanding with a lot of reading and concept that you need to pay attention to. try it out and make sure you are adequately absorbing all the material and if it gets too hard to handle switch your 2nd semester cl with one of the first semester cles, like art, to balance the course load.

Oil coming from center cap of wheel and around axel nut?

I have a 1998 Honda Prelude and I noticed some dried oil/grease on my front penger wheel that is coming from the center cap. I took the cap off and sure enough there is some oil in there around the axle nut. I not exactly sure what's going on, but if I had to guess I would say that the oil is from the wheel bearing, hub or knuckle. First, what does it mean when there is oil coming out around the axle nut and center cap? Second, I just had my lower ball joints replaced a few months ago as part of a recall, could this oil be due to something the mechanic did?(I'm pretty sure you have to take off the hub and knuckle to replace the ball joint)

If you like science cles, I suggest you change your major to something like Geology, Astronomy, Geography or Anthropology. Biology and Chemistry were never my strong points either and I definitely like Astronomy and Anthropology better. I have been married for 5 years, and we have two small children, 2 yrs. and 2 mos. well...first off you have to decide if you are a goofy or regular...if you are goofy then ur right foot is forward and ur left foot is pushing..if ur regular then ur left foot is forward and ur right foot is pushing...but also...u have to know how to balance...once you got balencing down, you can start to push...shift ur front foot with ur toes pointing to the nose of the board and take ur back foot off and just basically push..lol itll take a while to get a hang of it...and to steer...you can either lean side to side or do the tic-tac...tic-tac is wen u shift SOME of ur weight to the tail of the board and turn ur nose to the side...so basically its like a SMALL wheely but turning at the same time...and to stop...u can either shift ur weight onto the tail, power slide (i dont recommend that wen ur a beginner) or just simply place one foot firmly on the ground...i hope i helped lol

what is a good topic that is fairly narrow that I could research and for which I could write an 8-12 pg. paper that concerns the media in some way and how they tie into politics? I can't tackle a huge problem like bias in general, but something more specific that I can yze. Why does one nostril stay congested?

When I lay down at night I always have one nostril that automatically gets congested. I can get up and walk down the hall and it opens up. As soon as I sit down or lay down one nostril will get congested again. I have taken allergy pills but this does not help the congestion. Sometimes my nose will even run while congested. My newborn is frantic without a pacifier?

My 10 day old son loves his soothie, so much that when he doesn't have it he is frantically flailing his arms and looking for it. Once he's asleep he doesn't care where it is but he gets really irritated and upset when he's awake and doesn't have it. I thought at first it meant he needed more to eat or was hungry again but if I offer my he will eat for just a minute to comfort himself then won't take anymore milk. Is it normal for a newborn to be so dependent and attached to his pacifier? I didn't want to use a pacifier when he was born but the first few days he literally almost killed me with his crying that nothing but sucking could soothe. He gets so frantic I have to calm him down before he will stop moving enough to get a grip on the pacifier. If he were hungry, wouldn't he spit it out and look for something else, or get frustrated milk doesn't come out? I have to put it back in his mouth every 5 minutes it seems!

My rat is making some very strange sounds, she was making them a lot this morning too. She won't stop making them, they sound like a congested squeek. My three and a half month old doesnt want to drink her bottle ..?

she hasnt been too fussy, just a little bit but not more than normal, shell feed, and shell do fine with the , but i dont make enough milk to feed her milk exclusively, so we supplement. but since last night around 2am, she hasnt wanted her bottle at all, shell push it out and fussy and cry when i try to give it to her, ive tried a bunch of different and bottles but she just wont take it. she usually loves her bottles, so im not sure what the matter is. she doesnt seem sick, no fever, no vomiting. shes slightly congested but thats about it, and shes normally kind of mucusy. im afraid shes not getting enough to eat. what should i do? has anyone experienced anything like this before? im getting a little worried

A question about alcoholic ex-husband?

My ex and I have been divorced for 4 years. He is an alcoholic, in denial, and refused to get help. Many people in his family tried to talk to him as well, and it did no good. We have 2 daughters, ages 8 and 5 that I have physical custody of. He takes them on overnight visits every other weekend. My Mom and I are always watching him to make sure he doesent appear intoxicated, both at pick up and drop off. He will come over with his clothes stinking of booze alot of times, but he appears fine so I just figure he must have been drinking earlier in the week. Anyway, this weekend the girls had Girl Scouts and it was his weekend, so he dropped them off at the meeting and hung around. I was there, too. He seemed his usual self, so I didnt think anything of it. Then later this evening, one of their Troop Leaders called to tell me he reeked of alcohol when he stood near her, and it concerned her because he drove the girls. But she said he appeared ok, or she would have asked him to leave. I gave her a little info about our situation, and told her I would talk to him. I decided to take him to Court to have Visitation ammended, because obviously he's doing some drinking when they are in their care. We already have a Case pending in January bec he insists on taking them to a married friend's house to play with their 2 boys, ages 8 and teenage. Often they spend the night. I don't like it, and have told him many times to stop, but he refuses. I don't know why its so important to go over there, I believe partying is going on, my 5 yr old doesent even want to go over there, either. And to make matters worse, his friend is dying of cancer! I don't think my girls should be in this position, he gets nasty to me and constantly bad-mouths me to the girls, upsetting them. I want to know if I can request an Emergency Hearing on this issue, since he takes them again in 2 weeks and thats before our Court date. I just don't trust him to take them anywhere now. Also, what kind of proof would I have to give to the Judge to prove he's got a problem? He's a functional Alcoholic.

Why does my Compact Flash GPS card work in a USB card reader?

I have a Compact Flash GPS card which works fine in my PDA. I thought that if I put it into a USB card reader (into the CF slot, obviously) and plugged the reader into my laptop, then Windows would prompt me for a driver and the rest would be simple. It doesn't work. Windows does not prompt for a driver - in fact it doesn't seem to 'see' the GPS unit at all. Why not? Is there a way to use this card with my laptop? Thank you.
