Why is my laptop's LCD blank? It's a blank screen (but still illuminated). How can I fix it?

Your screen isn't receiving any signal from your motherboard and or graphics card, im not sure about laptops but this happens when you have either your DVI or HDMI cord unplugged from the tower or the screen on a desktop computer, i suggest taking it to your local computer store to get fixed.
