Isn't it actually the Democrats who have taken serious steps to combat terrorism?

I don't know, when President Obama detailed his Iraq strategy, he may as well have been reading from a playbook that President Bush left on the desk of the Oval Office. It was nearly identical to the strategy in place at the time the Bush administration ended. Although it angers his Democrat supporters, not immediately bailing out of Iraq is one of the few things he's done right.
