Signs of a tamed finch?

My society finches' baby hatched, and now it is about 5 weeks old. I've seen this bird fly very high, but it still sits in my lap and perches on my finger, and doesn't freak out. I feed her a little bit sometimes too, and the parents don't mind. Could this finch have a chance at being tamed?
