Fuel pump on a 1985 grand marquis located?

There are two wires coming out of the top of gas tank (blue and red) used tester light and no power to it, there is also two wires coming from the side of it, looks to be the fuel pump, the tester light when hooked up to those wires blink. Does anyone know which wires are the fuel pump? Is okay that the tester light blinks?
